Hi, Iโm Sambhav.
I build small tools for the bits of work I keep running into.
Iโm Sambhav, also known online as Smugcurve13.
WordStyle started with a small LinkedIn workaround. A colleague working on LinkedIn posts in our office was using bold text in a post. When I asked what formatting he had used, he showed me YayText: type a word, copy it, and replace it in LinkedIn.
I understood the appeal immediately. But I did not need dozens of novelty styles or a page full of ads. I wanted the few formats I would actually use when writing: bold, italic, bold italic, strikethrough, and underline.
So I built WordStyle around those five options. Paste text, choose a style, copy it, and move on.
I like building small tools for problems I run into in my own day-to-day work, including one-off tools that may only solve a narrow problem. When one feels useful beyond my own workflow, I make it available for free.
If WordStyle helps even one person other than me make an important sentence easier to find, it was worth making.
Iโm also exploring two directions for it: applying a style to selected words inside a full post, and letting writing automations request deliberate formatting. Neither is live yet, so the current version stays intentionally simple.
